What counts as a scan

One look at one domain. Re-checking a watched list uses one scan per site per check, so a 300-site list re-checked monthly costs 300 scans a month. That is on purpose: the ongoing checking is the part you are paying for.

Billing

Checkout is not open yet. The trial takes no card and charges nothing, so nothing here needs a payment method today; when it does, payment and the invoice will go through a merchant of record, and the provider will be named on this page before anyone is asked to pay.
